This is a Great Buy for anyone looking for an entry level address printer. Don't misinterpret ENTRY LEVEL to mean low quality or impossibly slow production speeds. The Envelope Imager 1.5" PLUS can personalize postcards, # 10 and 6x9 envelopes at speeds of 12-20,000 p/ hr, these are achievable production speeds, not those from a brochure at up to 600 dpi (super bold)

Set-up and maintenance tasks are easily accomplished and require very little in the way of technical skills. Installation can be handled by referring to the quick start guide and having a friendly voice on the line to guide you; training can be accomplished in the same manner; all said and done, installation and initial training on-site or over the phone rarely exceeds 1 hour even with non-experienced staff. It's just a desktop printer like your desktop inkjet or small laser printer. The printer can be run from any windows based application using the supplied windows print drivers making it easy to print your data from programs you use all the time.

I'd recommend this printer to anyone looking to print 0 - 150,000 pieces of mail per month, using a Windows XP or Vista system who primarily mails postcards, #10 envelopes, standard letter Tri-folded down and tabbed for mailing, 6x9 envelopes or large postcards. Media Thickness - less than 2-3 pieces of paper in a #10 or less.

Glossy stocks, no problem, HP 45A Style inks come in all formulas for all your needs. Change your ink and not your printer!!
