If a picture is worth 1000 words, what is a video worth?
If you need to setup an Accufast XL labeler, hopefully it’s priceless!
I hate doing videos, but this training / troubleshooting video seems to have helped a few of our clients.
So we decided to share it with everyone.
It is not intended to replace the manual!  If you need one you can download the Accufast XL Manual here.
If you would like to purchase a New or Used XL Labeler give us a call at 866-430-2874

The XL in the video has a Stamp Kit on it to allow it to apply rolls of postage stamps or small labels.
One of the most common problems we come across is clients using labels that were not designed for machine application!  Some of the symptoms, the backing paper tears, the label moves up and down on the mailer, glue – gum builds up on the label chute..
The labels need to be pressure sensitive, machine applicable, 1 up labels like the ones shown below.

Another problem we see is dirty sensors, which we try to go over in the above video.
But we should also mention that not all compressed air cleaners – dusters, are created equal!
Some contain moisture and particulates that can do more harm than good.
So please pay close attention to the labels, the can should state that it is made for electronics and sensors and not just for removing dust.  The sensors on a Accufast labeler, rarely fail.  So if you have gone through a few, chances are you are cleaning them incorrectly.  If you are using a compressor, it should have an attachment on it to remove moisture and filter the air.  Otherwise you could be blowing moisture and particles onto the sensor.
